Introduction
The financial year 2008-2009 has been another exciting year for Amsphere. In spite of the economic down turn, Amsphere has grown its customer base and staff. The acquisition of Nexus Managed Solutions (Nexus) also saw us enter the public sector market. This year has seen us secure new projects with new clients for a variety of testing services, while our relationships with current clients have strengthened and extended into fully managed testing, delivery assurance and environment management functions. We continue to win important and challenging mandates through our software disputes practice.
People
All of our staff have played a key role in representing Amsphere's values of Integrity, Innovation and Drive. We are building the talent of the business with the recruitment of several senior managers and consultants, and we will continue to seek out the very best people to support Amsphere's expansion. Recent senior appointments include Chan Dabare as Managing Director of our Public Sector and Financial Services business.

Amsphere continues to operate in many different vertical markets including: Public Sector, Retail, Financial Services, Media, Telecommunications and Utilities.
Acquisitions and Strategy
During the year we announced the purchase of Nexus, a worldwide quality assurance and risk mitigation consultancy. The acquisition is part of our ongoing strategy to provide Amsphere’s delivery assurance and software testing services to a wider audience, including the further enhancement of our public sector solutions.
Amsphere continues to strive to be one of the best delivery assurance and testing consultancies and to expand organically and through acquisition and offer innovative new services to its clients.
Fast Track
Amsphere was delighted to be recognised by the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 as ranked 59th. The survey measured the fastest growing private technology companies and those that are likely to go on flourishing even in an economic slowdown. Over the last three years Amsphere have shown an average annual sales growth of 54.95% making us one of the fastest expanding Software Testing Consultancies in the UK. This is a strong testimony of Amsphere’s highly skilled and experienced people and quality service provision. It’s fantastic that a company who specialises in Delivery Assurance and Software Testing can make the list and this shows that our customers are taking the risks associated with software quality seriously.
