The challenge for Ladbrokes was to refresh the online desktop gaming solution in line with their mobile solution which had been growing across development cycles since 2013. The reasons for the desktop refresh were to provide an enhanced customer experience and so increasing customer retention along with improved competitive advantage in the online betting and gaming market.
Amsphere provided a comprehensive testing programme that enabled Ladbrokes to deliver a quality assured Desktop site by July 2015 from a standing start in December 2014. The commitment was to deliver Ladbrokes’ new website before the start of the English Premier League football season in August and this was accomplished with a week to spare and yielded additional benefit of being ready for the Scottish football league season opening weekend a week earlier.
